1- Design, Equip, and Commissioning of National Refrigeration Lab:

Standards and Industrial Research Institute understanding  the necessity of upgrading its refrigerator laboratories, awarded a project to HARC in 2001. This project actually enhanced their abilities to carry out performance, energy consumptions, providing energy labels and conducting research activities. The new laboratories including 4 test rooms and 16 test stations, each having 20 sq-meter area, equipped with computer controlled humidity-heating-cooling packages, data gathering and processing systems through 16 temperature sensors for each station and also determining all electrical quantities with capability of calculation the energy consumption, etc., were built and commissioned.

2- Design and Construction of Q.C. test System in Air-Conditioner Production Line:

A robotic, computerized, and fully automatic quality control line was built in Iran Air Conditioning Co.’s, factory in Sari. It includes a 30m long conveyer equipped with temperature control apparatus, performance data acquisition system, stabilization stage, thermostat and gas leaking test facilities. All systems are dynamically interlinked through a computer.

The project was implemented in 2001.

3- Design and Installation Of 100% Performance Test Line for the Final Stage of Fridge-Freezer Production Line:

The project was aimed to enable Iran Pooya Co., to test 48 produced fridge-freezer at the same time as final Q.C. test. The comprehensive system, including computerized data gathering and processing, automatically identifies possible defects in each product and announces its approval or rejection and keeps records on the production performance through an advanced data filing system. The project was implemented in 2001.

4- Design and Installation of Refrigerator Lab:

The computerized lab, capable of gathering and processing data on various aspects of the under-the-test product, was designed and commissioned for Semnan Province Standard Office.

5- Layout Design for National Laboratories for Gas Burning Appliances:

This national project has been carried out for Iran Fuel Conservation Organization (IFCO) during 2001-2002.

After a comprehensive study on  accredited international laboratories in the field of gas burning appliances, including site studies, their layouts, equipment, technical specifications and other aspects, the national gas burning appliances laboratory layout was designed .

6- Design and Installation of Refrigerator Lab:

The project, including fully equipped test room with heating-cooling-humidity apparatus as well as circulations ducts, supported by computerized software and hardware for data gathering and processing equipment, is commissioned according to valid international standards. The project was awarded to HARC by Yazd Province Standard Office.

7- Design and Installation of Washing Machine Laboratory:

Another national project, which is implemented for ISIRI is complete washing machine performance & energy lab. All the necessary equipment for carrying-out the performance, energy labelling and safety tests for washing machines according to national and international standards, including ISO 60456 have been installed.

8- Design and Installation of a Data Acquisition System and Processing for Washing Machines Laboratory:

The project, including the required hardware, software and energy label calculating system, was carried out for Sepehr Electric Co. in 2002.
